Training & Placement

Training and Placement Cell of Dr SMCE is established with a goal of not only securing placements for students but also to make them competent enough to face the corporate world. Training and Placement Department is headed by Ms. Sowmya R Raghavendra. We view it as a medium or way which provides vertical mobility to our students. The college has an exclusive Training & Placement centre to facilitate on- campus and off campus placement opportunities to the students.

Objectives
  • Maintaining good and professional interface with industries to facilitate training and placement of student’s as per the requirements of corporate companies.
  • To approach industries for partnership/MOU’s for workshops, seminars/guest lecturers/special programs and internship for students also will be offered.

    • Training and Placement coordinators
    T & P coordinators will represent their respective departments in the T&P Cell and assist the T&PO during the training programs, recruitment drives, etc in the form of maintaining attendance, updating student’s data base, etc.

    Training Providers
    With the Comprehensive training programs from the training experts Seventh Sense Talent Solutions, we aim at enhancing the employability skills of all the participants. The program is designed by professional trainers keeping in mind the importance of the all-round development of candidates. Hence this training program is highly recommended for candidates who are looking for acquiring skills for suitable employment and also to develop their personality. The training includes Business English, Personality Development Written Communication, Oral Communication, Soft Skills, Aptitude Test, CV Writing, Interview Facing Skills, and Group Discussion etc. under Comprehensive Recruitment Training Program for Final Year and Pre Final Year Students.

    Students will act as liaison between T&P Cell and the student community. These are Final Year Students, nominated by respective HODs.
