International Yoga Day Celebration at Our College

Our college joyfully celebrated International Yoga Day on June 21st, uniting students, faculty, and staff in the spirit of health, mindfulness, and inner harmony. The event took place in the college auditorium early in the morning, beginning at 10:00 AM, and saw enthusiastic participation from all departments.

The session was skillfully led by Mrs. Chandrakhala, a well-respected and experienced yoga trainer. With her calm demeanor and expert guidance, she took the participants through a series of yoga postures (asanas), breathing exercises (pranayama), and a short meditation session. Her clear instructions and emphasis on proper technique helped everyone – from beginners to regular practitioners – engage meaningfully with the practice.

The event was graced by the presence of our esteemed Director, Dr. M.H. Annaiah, and Principal, Dr.K.S Jagadeesh Gowda, who emphasized the importance of incorporating yoga into our daily routines for better physical and mental well-being. Both extended their appreciation to Mrs. Chandrakhala for her valuable contribution and encouraged students to make yoga a regular habit.
