Department of Mechanical Engineering at Dr.SMCE was established in the year 2008. The Department of Mechanaical Engineering offers Bachelor of Engineering (BE) Degree and Master of Technology(MTech) Degree in Manufacturing Science And Engineering under Visvesvaraya Technological University. The department has highly qualified experts from both the academia and the industry with vast research and engineering experience. This helps offer high end courses, work on cutting edge technologies along with a curriculum that would help the students get ready for their professional career, be it the industry or academics. The department has innumerable books to cater to the students, faculty and research. The department also has on-line access to most of the international journals.
